The Hampshire Cricket Society
The fourth meeting of the Society’s 2019-2020 season is the Annual Dinner at 7.00pm at The Ageas Bowl on Wednesday 4 December 2019. The speaker will be the immensely popular Vic Marks who played for Somerset and England and who now writes for the Observer and the Guardian.
Booking forms for the Society’s Annual Dinner have been circulated by post and e-mail. If you have mislaid your form you can download one and return it to the Secretary by Sunday 17 November 2019.

The Hampshire Cricket Society provides an opportunity to hear and speak with many who are well known in the cricket world. The policy is to invite speakers from all aspects of cricket including players, umpires, authors, administrators, statisticians and others.

Between September and April there is a Programme of eight meetings each with a guest speaker. There are four meetings at The Ageas Bowl, Southampton and four at The Test Valley Golf Club, Basingstoke.
Recent speakers have included James Tomlinson, Jimmy Adams and Sean Ervine.
The list of distinguished past speakers includes: Hampshire Captains, former and current Hampshire Players, Godfrey Evans, Derek Randall, Derek Underwood, Graham Gooch, John Arlott, Donald Woods and Lord McLaurin.
Informative Newsletters are produced for each meeting and sent to members who are unable to attend.
