Pitch Publishing New Virtual Cricket Talks Series

To help cricket fans get a regular fix, the cricket team at Pitch Publishing has launched a new series of Virtual Cricket Talks and Q&A sessions using Zoom.

The talks will feature Pitch Publishing's cricketing authors and run on Friday evenings at 7.30pm, kicking off on Friday 29th May with former Sussex and Middlesex batsmen and now umpire Ian Gould, hosted by BBC cricket commentator Mark Church.

The talks are free of charge to members of the Hampshire Cricket Society and the committee are fully behind this project. A link will be e-mailed to members before each talk to enable them to join the Zoom session.

Kyle Abbott Booklet

Ref the review in the second March Newsletter of Dave Allen’s booklet celebrating Kyle Abbott’s record breaking feat in the final home Championship match against Somerset last summer.

Copies can be obtained direct from Dave from his home address at 3 South Normandy, Portsmouth, PO1 2 ES. The price is £7.50 (inc pp). Cheques should be made payable to D. Allen.

If you wish to pay by bank transfer, it is best to contact Dave by email in the first instance: dave.allen@port.ac.uk

The first 30 orders received by Dave will include a completed scorecard.

As it looks increasingly likely that there will be no Championship cricket this summer, this booklet will help fill the void and provide a cherished memory of a very special occasion.
