Kyle Abbott Booklet

Ref the review in the last Newsletter of Dave Allen’s booklet celebrating Kyle Abbott’s record breaking feat in the final home Championship match against Somerset last summer.

Copies can be obtained direct from Dave from his home address at 3 South Normandy, Portsmouth, PO1 2 ES. The price is £7.50 (inc pp). Cheques should be made payable to D. Allen.

If you wish to pay by bank transfer, it is best to contact Dave by email in the first instance: dave.allen@port.ac.uk

The first 30 orders received by Dave will include a completed scorecard.

As it looks increasingly likely that there will be no Championship cricket this summer, this booklet will help fill the void and provide a cherished memory of a very special occasion.

The Society's Day a the Cricket 2020

Now we know that cricket will not return until, at the earliest, 1 July it is obvious that the 'Day at the Cricket' planned for Sunday 14 June cannot go ahead.

The Committee will review whether it is going to be possible to have a 'Day at the Cricket' this year after 1 July when we know if it is going to be feasible.
